Founded by Thom Somes in 1996, PetTech® is the first and largest international training center for premiere Pet CPR, First Aid, and Wellness training for dog and cat parents and pet care professionals.  PetTech® is the ONLY Pet CPR & First Aid training center accredited by the PACCC (Professional Animal Care Certification Council).  PetTech® offers the ONLY Pet CPR and First Aid curriculum that provides hands-on-training and instruction for our students.  I am a certified PetTech® Instructor, PTI #2700.

• Complete PetSaver™ Training – Our premier 8-hour class includes all the skills listed in the previous FAQ providing complete training in Pet CPR, First Aid & Care including Senior Petizen™ Care and Dental Care for pets). Each participant will receive our PetSaver™ 40-page handbook and upon successful completion, a certificate and wallet card.
• CPR & First Aid For Your Pets – Our 5+ hour class includes all the skills listed in the previous FAQ (except Dental Care and Senior Petizen™ Care). Each participant will receive our PetSaver™ 40-page handbook and upon successful completion, a certificate and wallet card.

TPPT also offers educational lectures on the following pet-centric topics.  These lectures are typically about 2-hours which include a Q&A segment.

• TPPT offers both public and private group classes for pet parents and pet care professionals ranging in size from four people to twelve people.  ***Larger classes are possible but require additional PetTech® instructors.  Please inquire for additional information if you are interested in group instruction for more than twelve students at one time.

EVERYONE!!  The classes are designed for both PET PARENTS and PET CARE PROFESSIONALS.

• PET PARENTS who have canine or feline fur babies will benefit from these classes. • PET CARE PROFESSIONALS or any organization whose employees regularly encounter and have hands-on interactions with canines or felines will benefit from these classes. Sadly, many pet care professionals are not trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.  Upon successful completion of either of these courses, each student will receive a certificate and be fully CERTIFIED for two years from the date of completion.  PetTech® is the ONLY Pet CPR & First Aid training center accredited by the PACCC.

We do not offer blanket certifications for entire organizations/companies, but rather train and certify individual employees within the company.  The certificates are great to display at your business entrance or to place in a brag book when marketing to clients to show how committed your organization (and your team!) is to provide the BEST care for your clients’ pets should an emergency arise.

• Community Outreach – TPPT prides itself on actively participating in our community by donating time and resources to raise awareness and advocate for pets. These lectures are a great informational tool and conversation starter to begin to raise awareness about pet wellness and safety.  We provide these lectures as community outreach to the following types of organizations:
